DESCRIPTION:Join Kate and friends for the 2nd annual Almsgiving Ceremony for Parayana Vihara! \nKate recently announced that any amount donated from Nov 27 to Dec 7 will be matched 1-to-1\, up to $10\,000\, via a matching fund gift! \nAs the community grows\, the Almsgiving Ceremony is a wonderful way you can support the monastics. The Ceremony will be centered around offering robe cloth\, with other requisites and donations also welcomed for the flourishing of the Sangha. \nThere will be meditation\, Dhamma talks from local and visiting monastics\, and opportunities to get to know each other as practitioners. \nFor those bringing a food dish\, please try to arrive between 10 – 10:15am. \nIf you cannot participate in person but still wish to contribute\, please kindly visit the Almsgiving Ceremony donation page. The library is open until 5:00 pm \nWe are located at 1442 Gise St in Port Townsend. Please be considerate of our neighbors and others when parking. Street parking is available for about 4 cars at the vihara. Additional street parking is available on surrounding streets and the Haines Place Park & Ride is a short walk away. \nThe teachings are freely given. If you would like to offer dana\, there is a dana basket at the vihāra or you may offer online at our donation page.
